Mobilities

JSC Global Ideas Project Centre helps organising Leonardo da Vinci Mobilities (IVT, PLM, and VETPRO) in Lithuania. We work together with our Training Centre for organizing VET student and staff mobilities in the following fields:

  • Accountancy and finance,
  • Administrative and secretarial work,
  • Client service,
  • Childcare (children psicychology, development),
  • IT (web design, programming, graphic design),
  • Skin and Hair care,
  • Photography, video, etc.

Besides, the Project Centre has strong contacts with VET schools as well as industrial and service companies, therefore is able to organize quality visits with good logistical and educational solutions in Vilnius and Kaunas cities.

We offer the following  services:

  • reception of the participants at their arrival point,
  • supervision and mentoring service for the participants,
  • arrangement of accommodation,
  • organization of the technical visits and the issuing of the eventual certificates,
  • organization of local transport,
  • managing of language courses and cultural excursions,
  • translation of the technical terms into English  language.

Global Ideas is participating in Leonardo da Vinci Mobility projects with institutions from Turkey.

Project title: Developing Technologies and Renewing Vocations (IVT)
Sending organization: FATMA MUZAFFER MERMER KIZ TEKNİK VE MESLEK LİSESİ
Group size: 15 learners + 2 teachers
Dates: 2011.02.14-27
The project was targeted for participants to learn about Lithuanian graphics and photography sectors, to apply the latest developments in these fields on these issues and return to their country in a way equipped with them. Graphic arts and photography students received practical training in order to learn new techniques and find chance to observe the innovations in this field place about banner design and computer techniques in image processing program, poster design. Apart from intense training programme, Lithuanian cultural aspects as well as architectural were learned during the visit of schoolchildren from Kirsehir: Participants visited Amber Museum and National Museum of Lithuania, Vilnius Book Fair and few art galleries. They also had a meeting with Gediminas Lašas, president of Lithuanian Association of Graphic Design.

Project title: Developing Young Developing Society (IVT)
Sending organization: ACARLAR MULTI PROGRAMMED HIGH SCHOOL
Group size: 15 learners + 2 teachers
Dates: 2011.04.17-05.01
Students from Aydin city, Turkey came to Vilnius to make fitting remark for the uniform accounting system. During this course the material and necessary tools were presented. It increased their knowledge in this field to use it in their works and future plans. By observing sectorial, cultural and international differences, students have analyzed accountancy problems form different angles. Apart from theoretical lessons and various exercises, students visited The Authority of Audit and Accounting, Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania and had a thematic tour of Vilnius institutions associated to Lithuanian financial structure and politics.  They also had an opportunity to get acquainted with Lithuanian culture and Vilnius showplaces.

Project title: Mesleki Ve Teknik Egitimde AB Staja (IVT)
Sending organization: SANLIURFA TEKNIK VE ENDUSTRI MESLEK LISESI
Group size: 10 learners + 1 teacher
Dates: 2011.04.18-05.16
The participants of this course were 16-17 years old boys that are studying metal and electro technologies specialities in vocational education schools. Within this visit, students gained knowledge and skills that could be applied and adapted in disciplinary environments. Students learned basics and installation methods of control, basic PLC systems, alarm, conditioning, welding systems and etc. Students observed air cooling systems at UAB “Sostena”, at Vilnius Tourism and Commerce School in Vilnius and at “SNORAS Snow Arena” in Druskininkai. The also saw how welding systems are applied in practice at G. Malinauskas car service and UAB “Arginta”. More about the cars, students have learned during the study visits at UAB “Autorigeka” and UAB “Skuba”. They also visited cars‘exhibition „ALT 2011“at Lietuvos parodų centras LITEXPO and The Energy and Technology Museum.

Project title: Further Vocational Training For our Graduated Students (PLM)
Sending organization: HATAY MERKEZ HALK EGITIMI MERKEZI VE AKSAM SANAT OKULU
Group size: 15 learners + 1 accompanying person
Dates: 2011.04.03-04.24
During 3 weeks, the participants have benefited from applied trainings efficiently about cleaning and care of different types of skins, materials used for it, electro-aesthetic machines used in skin care and cleaning, Frimateur (brushing), wrinkle treatments. Moreover, students learned how to make face and classical body massages, how to do colouring and correction of eyebrows and eyelashes, different make-up and depilation methods. Participants got the training in maximum level and acquired EU standards. The also had an opportunity to find out about Hosting country and its culture: they visited National Museum of Lithuania and Trakai.

Project title: Vocational Skills Training From Mediterranean To Europe (IVT)
Sending organization: ANTAKYA GIRL TECHNIC AND VOCATION HIGH SCHOOL
Group size: 12 learners + 4 teachers

A group from Hatay, Turkey came to Vilnius to increase their knowledge about typography. They had training sessions about development of typography, typographical arrangement’s elements dimensions, evaluation of relationship between letters of the article as a form of visual analysis, basic writing and typography rules and norms, use of writing as graphical element, colours, texture and surface in typography. They practiced to work with Pixel and vectoral-based programs (Photographer, Freehand, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Indesign, Quark express, Flash, etc.). Students created individual fonts, used image manipulation programs, typographic publishing systems, and methods of highlighting. Participants also visited two printing-houses where they got acquainted with typography process, methods and equipment and UAB “Daiktu viesbutis”’. The host country’s cultural, geographic and demographic structure was also presented for them.

Project title: New Methods in Dessert Made (PLM)
Sending organization: ŞANLIURFA LOKANTACILAR KÖFTECİLER VE TATLICILAR ESNAF ODASI
Group size: 15 learners + 1 accompanying person
Dates: 2011.05.02-05.15
Culinary, pastry and confectionery is a sub-branch of Food & Beverage Services. Participants came from Şanliurfa to study desserts cooking art. They examined the types of food and sweet service applications in production techniques, storage conditions and preservation of materials for applications in kitchens and in shops. They also learned how to prepare the working environment according to the rules of hygiene and sanitation. Students learned how to cook fruit desserts, desserts from dairy products, chocolate-nuts desserts and cake decoration techniques (creams, marzipan, figures etc.). They have increased their knowledge and developed their skills in accordance with the latest innovations in European countries. They also had a study visits to confectionary shops such as Hotel “Stikliai” and UAB “Beatričės saldumynai”.

Project title: Skill Training of the Hairdresser in Europe (PLM)
Sending organization: ŞANLIURFA BERBERLER VE KUAFORLER ESNAF VE SANATKARLARI ODASI
Group size: 29 learners + 3 accompanying person
Dates: 2011.09.25-10.08
The aim of this project was for participants to learn new methods and technologies in hairdressing as well as to take something from Lithuanian experience in this field and then to use it in their practice in Turkey. Training took two weeks. Participants studied hot and cold hairstyling, modern hair colouring, hair cutting and modelling techniques. They had an opportunity to practice on real people. Apart the lessons in training centre, participants visited local beauty salons, such as beauty salon “T.A.D.A” where they have learned hair treatment method by using nano technologies (NANOMAX) and beauty salon “Žana” where Brazilian Keratin treatment and straightening procedure was presented for them. As a social program and acquaintance with Lithuanian culture, participants visited Vilnius centre, Trakai and Belmontas Entertainment and Recreation Centre.

Project title: Gaining Vocational Skills in Europe (IVT)

This project was targeted for participants to learn new about beauty and hair care and come home with higher qualification in their field. During two weeks that participants hosted in Vilnius, they studied different skin types, skin anomalies and how to take care of it, various face and body waxing techniques, body treatment procedures, paraffin masks, hot and cold hairstyling techniques, eyebrows and eyelashes dyeing and eyelashes curling. Students also have visited beauty salon “Mirra Liuks”, where professionals showed them the main principles of their work and the fast ways of making cold hairstyle. In beauty salon “Rasos perlas” students saw the main principles of this salon and had lesson of professional make-up. Participants also visited the main Vilnius showplaces.
