Do not discuss in any way school attendance over the weekend. There is nothing a phobic child does better than talk about going to school. Don't discuss phobic symptoms. " On Monday morning get the child up, dressed, and ready for school. Give the child a light breakfast to reduce the nausea problem. Have the father take the child matter-of-factly off to school.
